My trip to Africa

It all started at home in Brisbane, the day we were leaving we hopped in a taxi. Our first flight was 1 hour and a half, Brisbane to Sydney. When we got to Sydney we had the next flight which was 14 hour and my parents were in Business and we were in premium economy.

It all started at home in Brisbane, the day we were leaving we hopped in a taxi. Our first flight was 1 hour and a half, Brisbane to Sydney. When we got to Sydney we had the next flight which was 14 hour and my parents were in Business and we were in premium economy. It was a good flight. It felt long but it also felt luxurious so I was fine. It had big seats that laid down half way.

The time we got to Africa we were going to stay in a resort which was called Seasons and on each bedroom door it had a different season. Very smart and did I mention that I got my own bedroom, bathroom, balcony and desk.

Two days after, early in the morning when it was still dark we were going to go on a a hot air balloon. It was big and rainbow and did you know in a hot air balloon there are different sections for each family so it felt like we were alone. And did you know that when a hot air balloon lands safely there is a tradition to open and drink champagne. On the same day we did put put, and went to my dad’s friend Ben’s house.

The next day we went on a road trip it was 1 hour when we got there we check in and put are stuff in the room and then we when to the pool and it was not any typ of pool it was a wave pool it had big waves and small waves it also had obcal and it was in the air and some times it was a zip line it also had a lazy river and it had slides it was so fun and one of the best parts was that Ben and his family came to!

After we went to go and have a shower and went to dinner I had pizza and after that I was tired so I fell asleep in my chair so I went to bed. The next morning we went to breakfast and then we packed and check out for a 3 hour car drive.

Once we got there we did a safari and the first animal we saw was a spring bock. If you don’t know what that is it is a brown animal that has a big bumb on the back. He kind of looks like a cow. We also saw the big five which were a lion, lepod, elephant, rhino, buffalo. The big five are the most dangerous animals there. After three days on safari we packed and were going to go to the next places!

The next place was a different place for safari instead of waterberg. It was called riverreen. Me and Anya got our own house to stay in. It was very cool. It was only one night. So after one night we kind of did a week's road trip. On the way to Cape Town we did some activity. The first thing we did was go to an ostrich farm. I fed a dwarf ostrich. I know what you're thinking, yes there are dwarfs in the ostrichs. I fed that one because I was scared. And we learned all about them. The next place was cango caves apparently there only for lean people. There is a very funny story about that. Then we headed to hot springs which had hot springs! My mum says now that is her kind of pool it mine to if I have to be honest. Once we got out, me and Anya gave my dad's hair a makeover that was fun. Then we headed off to bed.

The final place we went to was Cape Town, it was really fun and we did so many things like climb a mountain well technically I didn’t but my parents it called cable mountain it is a really famous mountain in Cape Town Africa. My nanny me and my sister Anya all went in a cable car because we are not lazy but the walk was 5k up, which is hard. My mum was sick. I do not know how she did it all I know is that she was desperate if I am being honest I wouldn’t it sounds hard.

Now we are going home, it was amazing but as people sometimes say all good things must come to an end no matter what it is I really enjoyed it. Even though I really enjoyed it, I am excited to see my friends, My dog especially and family but now I can say I have been to Africa. Yay bye.
